Event report

Half term camp > October 1999

I think I can speak for all who went when I say that a great time was had by all. We did not have very much actually planned and as it poured with rain for most of the weekend, it wouldn't have made much difference.

We arrived on the Friday evening and promptly had a small disco before having dinner and then going to Titlford Green to invest another three into the Unit. We then returned to the field and continued with our disco!

The disco was provided by two of the members of the Unit. It didn't finish until about 4:30am.

On the Saturday we got up late and cooked breakfast before some of us went to work. The wood was too wet to get a fire going straight away and we soon gave up on that idea; so much for cooking lunch backwards style.
We went on a walk in the rain in the afternoon and got really wet! After dinner, we started the disco up again.

The Sunday morning was mainly tidying up after the weekend and playing card games because of the rain. We all left about 2pm and went back to our warm beds, ready for a hard half term!!!
